The rain has stopped and we’re heading south to Kenting National Park for a couple of days at the beach, hanging around, no sunburn…The latter didn’t work. Although we used sun protection and had umbrellas, we got burned.

The Taiwanese (and Chinese Tourists) don’t go to the beaches a lot. Pale is beautiful, the farmer on the field get’s the tan. That’s why the beach is not crowded. A couple of buses with Chinese tourist stop-over for some selfies, wet and sandy feet. For sunset more people come to the beach and even more selfies are shot. They pose, smile, jump…

Smartphones…EVERYBODY has ALWAYS a phone  in his/her hand to chat, gamble, whatever. The Stuttgart computer trains during rush hour are nothing against this.

Kenting is the first touristy place. The night markted is huge with lots of food to explore. People from western countries? Only a very small number.

What made us scratch our heads is how can you put a nuclear power plant into a national park? At least the water is pretty warm around there…
